The B.E.S.T. mission
When children start school, we are launching them on an educational voyage. We want them to captain their own boats but sometimes the voyage can become challenging for them and they need support. This might be because of a specific learning need such as dyslexia or dyscalculia, or it might be because they have shaky foundations with early core skills that make it hard to build on learning. It might be because they have transferred from a different curriculum or because English is not their first language. Some children find it hard to engage with their learning because of anxiety and or emotional dysregulation. There are many reasons why children encounter hiccups on their learning journey.
My goal is to work with parents and carers to help children overcome their barriers to learning so they can develop the confidence and skills to enjoy learning and to reach their potential.
